Listings and verification
A business may submit or claim a free listing. Paying for a plan does not automatically publish a listing, prove ownership or earn a Verified badge. Our team reviews the business identity, submitted details and official website before activating Verified or Featured benefits.
A Verified badge means we completed those checks at the time of review. It is not a guarantee of service quality, licensing, safety, pricing or customer satisfaction. Consumers should conduct their own due diligence.
Paid placement
Featured, city sponsor and state sponsor placements receive additional visibility. We identify commercial placements with labels such as “Featured” or “Sponsored” so readers can distinguish them from standard results.
Advertisers cannot purchase a rating, review score, factual claim or guaranteed position in independent editorial rankings. Availability may be limited by city, state or category.
Sponsored content
Commercial articles are visibly disclosed. We may edit, reject or remove submissions that are inaccurate, misleading, unsafe, off-topic or unhelpful to readers. Publication does not imply endorsement.
Links in sponsored content are identified for search engines as sponsored. We do not sell links, PageRank or guaranteed search-engine outcomes.
Editorial independence
Payment does not control our consumer guides, cost data, methodology, editorial conclusions or corrections. Our editorial team may cover an advertiser, a competitor or a market without notice to the advertiser.
When a material commercial relationship is relevant to a page, we disclose it in a clear and reasonably prominent way.
Eligibility and removal
We may decline or remove advertising involving deceptive claims, illegal services, impersonation, unsafe practices, undisclosed conflicts or businesses outside the directory's scope. We may ask for additional evidence before approval.
Recurring plans can be canceled according to the applicable terms. Removal of a badge or placement may follow failed payment, material business changes, inaccurate information or a policy violation.
