Who runs MedSpa Compass
MedSpa Compass is run by Wojciech Skrzek, founder, who builds and runs local business directories and is responsible for the data published here: importing and updating clinic profiles, moderating owner submissions and edits, and handling correction requests.

MedSpa Compass has no medical editor or clinical reviewer. Directory profiles and guides are not medically reviewed.
Where the data comes from
Business listing data. Most profiles start from public business listing data obtained through DataForSEO (name, address, phone, website, coordinates, opening hours, Google rating and review count). Ratings and review counts are stored values from that data, not live figures and not our own reviews.
Treatment categories. Profiles are grouped on treatment pages by the treatment categories attached to them. Since September 2026, new treatment assignments are added only with a recorded official-website source (page URL, check date and a short evidence note); older assignments come from the original import.
Source-checked comparisons. Selected city and treatment-by-city pages show comparisons in which the clinic's own website pages were checked for the listed services and details. These checks are dated, are partly AI-assisted and cover only what the clinic's own pages advertise.
Owner submissions and edits. Clinic owners can submit new listings, claim existing profiles and propose edits. Submissions and edits are moderated before publication; owner-provided descriptions and answers are marked as such and are not independently verified.
Medical director line. A profile can show an optional medical director only after the submitted name and license number match a public state license record, or after a manual check of the license record. It confirms that license record on the check date, nothing more.
Prices. MedSpa Compass does not publish directory-created dollar bands as market evidence. Cost guides explain billing units and the fields required for a comparable written quote. We do not have a current, representative sample of clinic menus, insurer claims or completed transactions, so a defensible national or local average is not shown. Request current itemized quotes directly from clinics. Method reviewed July 2026.
How profiles are ordered
City pages, treatment pages and treatment-by-city pages list active, labeled Sponsored placements first, then the remaining profiles by stored Google review count, with the stored Google rating as a tie-breaker. Source-checked treatment-by-city comparisons use review count and rating only, without Sponsored placements; source-checked city comparisons are listed alphabetically. State pages order profiles by review count and rating. The All med spas list shows Sponsored placements first and then the newest profiles, with Newest and A-Z sorting available.
Review count and rating are third-party discovery signals. The order is not a quality ranking, a recommendation or a judgment of clinical safety, licensing or suitability. Payment cannot buy a rating, a review score or a position outside the labeled Sponsored placements.
Sponsored, Featured and Verified
Sponsored marks paid placement (the Featured/Sponsored plan and city or state sponsorships). Every public paid placement carries the “Sponsored” label, and outbound links from paid plans are marked as sponsored for search engines.
Verified means the business identity, submitted details and official website were checked when the badge was granted. It does not verify licensing, safety, service quality, pricing or current availability. Details are in the advertising policy.
Corrections
To report outdated or incorrect information, use the contact form with the topic “Report a listing”, or email hello@medspacompass.com with the profile URL, the field in question and a reliable source such as the clinic's official website. Requests are compared with that evidence before a profile or guide is changed. Clinic owners can also claim their profile for free.
